Popcorn machines FAQs
Q: Can popcorn machines be used for home use?
A: Yes, there are a variety of sizes of popcorn machines available now.
With the increase in consumers with high tech entertainment rooms, or
in-home movie theaters these days, the popcorn machine industry has
created many smaller versions of the popcorn machine to meet those needs.
Q: Is it difficult to clean a popcorn machine?
A: It is relatively easy to clean the newer machines because the inner
kettles are usually made from aluminum. Some of the kettles are removable
so that you can more easily clean them after use. There are specialized
cleaners designed for popcorn machines that make this process simpler.
Q: What sort of electric requirements do popcorn machines have?
A: Most popcorn machines that are mid-sized machines use 120 volt electricity;
however they often have a special plug type called the NEMA 5-30P. You
will need to consult an electrician to have this plug installed prior
to use. The much smaller home versions of popcorn machines do not have
unusual plugs or out of the ordinary electricity requirements.
